Recommendations for Credit card (issuer) as good as USAA?

Hi, I have a USAA credit card which I love but want to get a second credit card as backup. Would appreciate suggestions on credit card issuers/cards that are as good as USAA (i.e. good customer service, no aggressive marketing email/telephone calls/mail, low ongoing interest rates for high credit score customers). Ideally, looking for a card/issuer with a long billing cycle as I'd want to pay off the balance every month and if the issuer extends warranties for larger ticket items (e.g. computers/electronic devices) that would be awesome (but not a requirement). Thanks!

I love my American Express

But fwiw, the interest rates are completely irrelevant to me. Rewards are completely negated by carrying any balance & paying interest

Capital One is an excellent company. 1.5% cash back on every purchase. Great customer service via phone with a real American. Their online bank is very competitive as well with good rates. You can also set up virtual cards with online merchants that can be turned off & on at will, so your real account number is never compromised. Excepted everywhere and no foreign transaction fees. My #2 is Discover Card. Good customer service with a real American as well.

Discover and AmEx are most will known for this, but they may not be the best backup cards.

Avoid subprime lenders. I wouldn't call anything from my 6+ non-subprime cards overly aggressive.

All are required to give at least 21 days by law.

This is becoming a rare benefit, especially on no annual fee cards.

Have a hectic life so like to keep things simple. I've never signed up for a reward card as I usually don't have the bandwidth to coordinate my finances (beyond bill payments) to ensure I not only accrue but also use rewards before they expire. Don't reward/cash back cards have higher interest rates? If I forget to pay off a bill I don't want to be paying a ridiculous interest rate. Will keep an open mind and research AMEX. Any particular type of AMEX card to look into? Thx!

I have no idea if the rates are higher, mine are all set to autopay the statement balance.

One of the simple cash back cards like Citi or Fidelity may meet some of your needs. I pay an annual fee for my AmEx because it’s worth it to us for the perks

Chase Sapphire reserve is amazing (benefits) and free to mil mbrs.

I use USAA for everything BUT credit cards. Their cards don't really offer any benefit beyond the already-low cashback or rewards programs

Amex is really good for a lot of the things you say but the rewards aren't incredible. You're sacrificing pure rewards for everything else.

Sofi is new on the scene and offers 3% back for the first year. CS has been fine as much as I've used it. Dunno if this will be a good long term option but so far it's been good to me.

Chase is good but doesn't have an overall winning combination IMO. Their customer service is lousy.

Citi, Capital One, and most of the others all have shit tier customer service and backend software.
