They'll probably end up living off of Social Security, which is fine. Nothing wrong with that if their rent/mortgage is low.

Don’t they have to be like 65 to get that? I honestly don’t think they will make it that long. Like they won’t be able to work that long. They are both unhealthy. My dad is an alcoholic and refuses to go to the doctor and my mom has diabetes and doesn’t treat it 😭

You can't force them to make healthier choices. You can give advice, but at the end of the day, they're adults and it's up to them to take care of themselves.

They can get social security at 62 and Medicare at 65. It is entirely on them to take care of their health - you have no power to change their habits.
