What do I do next? I'm an entry level employee living just above paycheck to paycheck, I have my probable next job lined up in a month or so, but I need paychecks between now and then. Looking like my company is heavily tied to this bank and although I might get paid late, they are both circling the drain, as my company is reliant on COVID emergency laws that are being lifted in May.
Do I quit and file unemployment to protect myself until my new job starts?
edit: I was asking about quitting based on someone’s advice, which I made this post to verify/get feedback on. my company has not said anything substantive yet and continues to say there will be an update in quotes posted by my direct reports.
edit: I am not quitting, again, I was just asking for input. I am not just sitting idle either, but it has been very difficult to get a hold of anyone to speak to at my states DoL
