It states rent should be paid by the 3rd of each month but considering I moved in on the 17th I wouldn’t receive any late fees or am I mistaken?

Yeah Thank y’all! I believe I paid for March’s rent in February and he’s asking for February pro rated rent

March 1-31 rent- $650 - paid on <date>

Security deposit - $650 - paid on <date>

February prorated 2/13-2/28 rent - $xxx - not yet paid.

Going forward rent to be paid on 1st of the month. Ie April rent $650 to be paid on 4/1
