Why do you think that the span of what you’ve experienced in your lifetime is indicative at all to what’s “normal?”

I’m actually a Geographer and one of my hobbies is studying historical weather data for the tri state area. If conditions hold, this will be the warmest January since records were kept, which I assure you is much longer than I’ve been alive.
