it's more likely a shitty neighbor is leaving that on your doorstep for whatever reason than some rando in the neighborhood breaking in multiple times and walking up and down 5 flights to dump garbage

that's possible. get a doorbell camera to see who's doing it. and always lock your deadbolt when leaving

Other people are mocking you in this thread, but this would be quite suspicious for me too as someone who grew up in a pretty unsafe town. Doubly so since you mention you've been burglarized before.
