Sounds like a good idea!
Take a walk in Central Park and get a nice brunch!
We’ve done that on last friday :)
Go to Brooklyn and explore over there
We stay in Brooklyn :)
Oh, then definitely go stroll around Prospect Park today - it won’t be too crowded and it’s such a beautiful day! Plenty of places to grab lunch nearby as well (regardless of what area you’re in). If you’re up for it, there is an outdoor ice skating rink in the southeast corner (LeFrak Center) that’s very nice as well!
Walk the Hudson River Waterfront Greenway
Walk the highline & look at the lights in Hudson Yards
Walk the Hudson River Greenway toward lower Manhattan and take the ferry to Governors Island.
Or the free ferry Staten Island
I would go to time square just to see if it’s littered.
DSNY goes right into action cleaning everything up. I’d say you probably only find a few random confettis here and there
It is mostly cleaned up by 2am. They got a massive crew of people and machines
Take the East River Ferry, maybe from 34th St to 96th, then back to Wall Street. Cheap and the best skyline views of the city.
Wall st and lower Manhattan visit. Take photos by the bull statue.
Edit then take a ferry to Brooklyn and Staten Island
Swing by the World Trade Center Oculus and share a story at my Strangers Project exhibit! I'll be open around 1--it's 100% free. Enjoy the city!
Go to build a bear or Disney and get like a plush for someone you know or love I think it’s nice.
Went to bed early, woke up at 430AM for a 3-1/2 mile run, and egg white breakfast all before 7am
Congrats!
Went to bed at 10. Was woken by fireworks at 12. Woke up at 5 for an 11 mile run (training for the fred lebow half).
