Yellow taxis need a reliable app. I’ll just go through Uber/Lyft and choose the cheaper one. It’s nice have documentation of where you’re going and how much you’re gonna pay.

Seems like a lot of people in this thread are unaware that it exists based on their comments.

Curb also prevents them from driving away because you ask to go to the Bronx. It penalizes drivers that cancel on rides.
