It happens all over the Borough. The Party appoints them, then forges their signatures for proxy votes. The party leadership ends up controlling more votes than there are people at the meetings. Tracking proxies is extremely difficult, so the party gets away with it year after year.

One party city where the sole party is basically rigged down to the lowest levels. Something needs to change cuz it’s basically not even a democracy in NYC the way things stand. Can’t even begin to wrap my head around how this could be solved though…
