Yay! Thanks for your comment, hope you enjoy the new paths (around the pond and to the pedestrian bridge) that the Student Conservation Association put together as a project with NYC Parks.

Ohh thats what they were working on when i visited a few weeks ago. I def will check it out!the map is such a great resource for visitors as the park is large.

It is now reinforced for safer and easier walking :) some of the wooden boards are recovered from the Coney Island boardwalk, after Sandy tore them up. I forget the type of wood but it is durable. And happy to put people onto it!
