For anyone reading, this is a pet and a different type of parrot than the wild monk parrots that live in south Brooklyn. OOP is not posting about a random green parrot.

Green Monk Parrots live in the main gatehouse of Green-wood. Lots of them, recently saw them

I dont think my bird can fly over 5 miles away from my house. He's not the best flyer. I'm sure he's still around my area. Someone must have took him in since it was about to rain yesterday.
