In my memory this hurricane happened in the summertime about 20 years ago.

Covid Tuesday definitely changed the time line of things.

Ahhh yes I remember standing in line to get a small amount of gas with fucking empty jugs of Hawaiian Punch. Lmfao completely dangerous but we did what we had to do.

Same I remember it being hot out with fully leafed out trees

Wild times. My niece almost drowned. She was in a pack and play sleeping in a basement an area outside the projected flood zone. She woke up crying and the brought her upstairs. 20 minutes later the basement was full of water. The 5 of them, including the 8 month old and 85 year old great grandmother had to evacuate in the storm and drove through southern Brooklyn to our apartment in the middle of the storm. Thankfully everyone was safe.

I only knew it was sometime in the cold weather because I remember trying to get through the night without heat since the power was out. I lasted one night and then evacuated to Boston.
