So astonishing to study this much-hallowed strip of nature so minutely. Shows that every square acre of land has its own nuances, but also sad that it alone stands in NYC as pristine.

It's hardly pristine, every square inch is curated.

And NYC has tons of good parks, some of the more wild than Central Park.

Pristine was probably generous. Maybe I meant sacrosanct, like it's some wonderland when in fact it's.... It's what it is.

I mean there are hundreds. Even if you insist on being so Manhattan focused, there's Inwood Hill.
