I’m referring to ford and Chevy and Dodge. Most NYC cop cars are either Tahoe/Suburbans or Impalas or Tauruses or Explorers or Durangos or Chargers. I’ve seen the odd Rav4 but they’re rare.

Pretty sure the remaining are being phased out. You hardly see them anymore.

That's only because American companies - and especially Ford - mass produce special versions of their street cars for use as police cars.
