Visitor here- how does nyc typically do with clearing roads and sidewalks? What should I expect tomorrow morning at like 8am in Manhattan? Should've packed my snow boots...

Doesn’t look like it’ll stick. Just enjoy the cozy evening and you’ll deal with the puddles in the morning.

Woah woah woah. I get you’re a visitor here, but in NY, when you say hot chocolate, you have to bring enough for the whole sub. I’ll be waiting for mine around 7 tomorrow

Most of the time the snow melts pretty quickly in Manhattan. The streets and sidewalks are warm because of the subways and the basements. I would be surprised if there’s any accumulation at all. Watch out for the slushy corner puddles, though, they’re always deeper than you think.

Ooh good point and good tip

Don't worry. Sidewalks in Manhattan get cleared right away. Streets are plowed. And this is a very light storm. It could be gone by morning. Only snow left will be in grass in parks
