Go stay in a cheap part of town and take the train to Manhattan or live in NJ. You can't afford Manhattan on an intern salary.

How long would the commute be ? I will be getting a relocation money for the entire 3 months, it’s about 7800 total .

You can rent a whole 3 bed house in NJ, just look for houses near a path station it would take anywhere between 10 mins to 50 mins depending on the station

Where in Manhattan? If financial district, the. Brooklyn or Jersey. If midtown, then queens. Once we know location, we can recommend neighborhoods based on budget and subway lines.
