It’s everywhere. Everyone is afraid to make real decisions now a days because if they are wrong or someone else doesn’t agree with it they get left out to dry

Not that I'm defending them, but making a mistake these days is way less acceptable it feels like. People get put on blast so quick on social media for nothing at all, so imagine if your decisions actually affect the population.

And then years of nepotism and crappy management means we have bottom tier leaders in these organizations that don't have the vision and willpower to fight the current.

Wow. However, this thing goes on on in many of the prison systems. Shame.

Yes. They do not want to be seen as making the jail comfortable for the prisoners so they go to the extreme.(They should spent a month in there)

This includes the judges, DAs and ADAs.

The problem is that the concerns strike as either exaggerated or selective outrage in NYC when considering, for example, that our homeless shelters are deadlier than Riker's.

And it's just factual that the oversight board has an agenda, I mean they need to have a purpose. The problem is when that purpose trumps basic human dignity considerations, for example, when they released Tavira's footage after his death, that's not the kind of flattering footage any decent human being would want to portrait another who passed away.

Jail isn't supposed to be a 5 star resort.
