Not that I'm defending them, but making a mistake these days is way less acceptable it feels like. People get put on blast so quick on social media for nothing at all, so imagine if your decisions actually affect the population.

And then years of nepotism and crappy management means we have bottom tier leaders in these organizations that don't have the vision and willpower to fight the current.
