This is kinda off topic, but what is everyone’s obsession with the word cringe?

None of us had any say where our mothers decided to go into labor. So it’s always been weird to watch people flex it like they were part of that decision making process.

Only transplants would read that long ass rant.

I find that it's the recent transplants/people who act this way and not people who are native to the city who really don't g.a.f. where people are from. LA has rhe same type of people or worst that act like they're in the promised land.

I mean that word actually means something, and at least it's not a verb people use as an adjective.

Just because you aren't bothered by things people describe as "toxic" in non-medical contexts doesn't mean it isn't a usefully specific and descriptive word.

My own particular unfavorite is when anyone who is not a born-and-bred native proposes something to actually make things better, they're told to go back to Iowa or some bullshit.

There's nothing cute about standing in the middle of a platform or sidewalk get the fuck out of the way. I don't care where you're from that's just rude.

BING BONG BITCH!!! New Yorkers are always going to be the way we are. There is an absurd amount of ignorance, especially in the teenagers definitely, but at our core we are good and just people. Also we don’t take any shit from anyone without reacting appropriately 🙌🏼
