I don’t care about this part, I am more interested if it’s legal for legally blind to drive

Maybe the whole cycling while drunk AND blind part?

Note: you can be legally blind and still have some vision. I knew a dude who is blind and can still snow ski with some assistance. Not sure about the biking thing though.

Oh boy, try telling that here. Here bikes are the preferred way of transportation to get home from a bar. Not to mention that police don't care as long as you're not making problems.

I used to know a guy who was legally blind who would show up at the bar daily on his moped. He had peripheral vision only, so he could tell if he was on the road with his head straight and could see in front if his head was sideways.

How can a blind man even drive?
The_SenateP t1_ixpzqkb wrote
This sounds like an onion story I can imagine the guy driving forward with his head sideways 😂
bajo2292 t1_ixq05gl wrote
that's what I am asking here
The_SenateP t1_ixq0cu7 wrote
I wouldn't be surprised if it was legal for blind people to drive but they have no way to drive cos they're blind. That seems like some backwards stuff america would do
bajo2292 t1_ixq16fe wrote
there are blind and legally blind .... if the blind could drive with some aid I guess it makes sense, but if somebody is legally blind there's no way he can drive
nuttmeister t1_ixhciac wrote
Why is this here? Seems reasonable he get fined. Maybe double fined?
