Not a car guy here...is there a reason you would specifically steal that part? Is it like particularly valuable?

There is actually a fair amount of precious metal inside of them like platinum, at least enough to make them worth a few hundred bucks at a scrap yard depending on the brand. Toyota ones are especially expensive

Yes, it's full of precious metals.

The catalytic converter has trace amounts of very rare metals in it, it can be sold for a few hundred €. It is also quite easy to steal as the metal is thin and easy to cut through

Here is info most don't know. 90% of super expensive cars you see are rentals or leases. There are even time share programs for them. These guys did not go out and buy a lambo SUV with cat theft money. Good chance it was rentals or leased by one person they reported stolen or using stolen Id.

Where does the Lamborghini have space to stow a jack?
And how did a couple of blokes get out and then back in (with a jack and cat) in under 5 minutes?
And aren't they worried about getting it dirty inside?

It's the SUV.

Ah, I can't see the video, I had visions of them trying to clamber out of something at ground level. Thanks.
