>The inspiration for swapping beef to chicken actually came from customers who have been “hacking” the Chicken Big Mac for years, as Anderson put it.
It took a trained chef 2 years to look at what some customers were already doing and making it an official sandwich on the menu. Happy to hear all his culinary training isn't going to waste.

Honestly, as a former line cook, I would LOVE to have a steady salary job for two years without having to work in a hot and sweaty kitchen all day for 8-12+ hours. A job like this would be gravy for any chefs not too pretentious to "sell out."

Reminds me of how sushi chefs claim it takes decades to learn to slice fish.

Granted, there are some fish that do take super long to learn.

Is it legal to dm a picture of a butthole and caption “wow this is like a Big Mac but different”? Edit:?

Chicken Big Mac is already on the menu in many parts of the world too, that article mentions the UK. Middle East has had it for over a decade I think, fairly sure I’ve seen it India and Australia has had it for a least a year or two and I think it was run as a promo item before that, so did this Toronto guy come up with the original version or just the Canadian one?

Holy shit, these guys are drinking some major kool aid. Order two mcChickes, add cheese to one, Mac sauce to the other, throwaway one top bun. That’s it. There you have it, for fuck sake.

His next 2 year idea will result in a fish version.

I had one in India in 2010. I think it was called the Chicken Maharaja, or maybe McMaharaja?

the first decade of training is just cooking rice. You have to rinse it, put it into the big rice machine, and press the "on" button. But theres so much more to it than that.
Medical_Officer t1_jc63bhw wrote
You joke, but there's literally a documentary on YouTube where some sushi chef says literally that "it took me 5 years to learn how to cook rice!"
Like bro, that's not the flex you think it is.
