Should I do some kind of cleansing ritual or something for it? Just burn it? I don't like to mess with this voodoo curse stuff and don't feel like making this worse.

I wouldn't burn it... That typically just unbinds whatever energy is attached and releases it so it's now free to roam. Better it be attached to an object. Cleansing is better.
