OK. so the creature/phenomenon is tied to Katana Boy, and was therefore also probably connected to his prior victim. What do they have in common? If it's staying up late, is there a chance they took or copnsumed something to help keep them awake as a "study aid"? Or used a product that changed their pheromones and drew it in?
