How do you plan on getting blood samples of the doppelgänger? He refined his looks, why couldn’t he change everything else?

The DNA is not going to change. All you have to do is suggest the fair and unbiased approach of medically proving your identity, and he’ll have a heck of a time coming up with a reason not to turn you “the intruder” into the police.
