First rule of surviving Southeast Asian supernatural encounters: if you see, hear, or smell something odd, for your own sake never point it out until it's passed.

The second is if you find something odd, never pick it up and leave it as it is.

I used to live in a house with a bedroom with two entrances, one door was in the hallway near the bathroom and the other was in the living room. We put our tv cabinet in front of the living room one, mostly blocking that door. I'm sure it's something simple and innocent like that!
