How did you get hired for this job? Any special skills or degree? What’s the pay and benefits? I’m intrigued.

Those are some really good questions. When I got hired I was fresh out of college looking for something to do and funny enough I saw the exact thing of my current fears, a PSA. It was for this "new" research facility. I remember there was a number on the bottom and it said to call if you were looking for an interesting and exciting work experience and I can't say they haven't delivered on that! I will say though the video looked like it was taken from the 40's. About the degrees and skills all I had was a degree in forestry and cryptozoology but I remember Marie didn't have a college degree and there are a lot of people who didn't finish high school. All they really want is someone who's interested in the outdoors and trying to understand things that don't make sense but then again I'm really only a surface level worker. I mostly do paperwork which isn't ideal and sometimes I get to help with making sure containment is safe which is kind of fun. You get to run into the walls and try to break through them. The people who work control have to go through special training though, they also have to be strong and have a lot of endurance. There's a lot of jobs here too which I won't go through all of them, but there's the scientists who work here and try to figure out what the creatures are and all kinds of things, there's also the people who get to go out and capture the creatures. I'm hoping I can try and get into that training they're really cool people and I'm so done with this paperwork. I make about 54,300 a year but I can't really leave so I live in the facilities little town. It's cute, there's a little main street with a book store and a coffee shop that sells extremely overpriced coffee and things like that. There's also the hospital and I get paid minor hazard pay haha but because Canada has free Universal Health Care I don't have to pay for hospital visits.

Hmmm... sounds pretty reasonable. I'd like to apply to work there.

Yeah it's not bad at all, I'll be coming out with a post soon about the jobs you could work because I'm sure there are probably some curious people.
