Some of the best scientific minds also once said autism was due to too much testosterone at a young age. The best scientific minds can still only work with the knowledge we have now, and both will always be fallible and ignorant to the advances of the coming centuries

Yes. Which is also why I believe it would be best not to entertain the notion of someone accepting what could be a false reality, and instead know that its more probable and practical to go see a medical professional. Despite what we may uncover in the future, I feel that it is vastly more important to take care of medical issues now, while we're living in the present and relative future.
