Can't wait until they get a minimal fine that they'll pay a portion of. That'll show them.

Company tried to save money by using child labor. Company lost not only more money but criminal record on top of it.

Seriously, though, they might still end up saving money. This country is broken.

That would be scary. I hope that is not the case.

This will not be costing them shit.

Gets fined then declares bankruptcy claiming fines have broken them. Then, new company rises from the ashes.

Do you know how many strings I had to pull to get a five year old to work at a factory?!?!

Their small fingers are better at pulling strings. That's why I hire them!

This is like a Serial Killer being let go after promising not to murder anyone anymore. They broke the law. Punish them.

“Agrees”?! Its a crime someone should be in federal prison for this not casually agreeing “sure i wont do it anymore, i swear, cross my heart and everything. What you don’t trust me?”

Is the child labor an issue or the cleaning up of entrails and blood of slaughtered animals the issue?

How old were the kids? Are people under 18 not allowed to have a job / where is the line drawn between this and cleaning a mcdonald's for a 17 year old.

As young as thirteen, it was in the article. Legally, it’s different because minors aren’t allowed to work in an industrial environment. Scrubbing blood and chunks of dead animal off of factory machinery isn’t the same as sweeping a restaurant lobby.

Thanks skimmed the article for a number but might have been spelled with letters (where we are going, everything is spelled with letters Marge)

Agree with this
