Take up knitting or go create some topiaries or something.

What an extremely sad and hate filled life she must live, the greatest insult to these kinds of people is to simply pity them.

Pity them and their sad and meaningless existence.

Many of them, yes. Trumples made it OK to say your racist thoughts out loud again and they're more convinced than ever that they're in the majority, making it OK to act on every impulse they get

At least we get a little bit of satisfaction on the rare occasion their actions actually have consequences.

They were like this the whole time. They were just more private about it. And no one believed their victims because Americans do not care about poor people.

Okay, even as a racist, what’s the point? Is it supposed to instill fear? Is it like giving someone the middle finger? Is it amusing to try to get away with something that’s not socially acceptable?

I seriously don’t get it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I mean yeah. I don’t get it either but I can’t pretend to understand her mindset. Maybe she thought it would create fear or maybe she knew it would make the news so she was excited about that. Mental illness could be a factor as well.

These people don't tend to be the most well adjusted, so there's that.

Atlantic and Ocean counties are the most racists spots in Jersey. Bunch of Karen’s and morons. Source: I live in Ocean County. Just see The comments on Ocean scanner news on FB. Always devolves into racist or homophobic comments for no reason

Growing up in Ocean County, it always blew my mind how many idiots flew confederate flags there. It’s like, come on - you’ve never even been anywhere near “The South”, and your family has lived in Manahawkin for 120 years. Just write racist shit on your truck instead - we all know what “heritage” means to you. 🙄

And it’s only getting worse.

Honestly why is it so consistent that people don't think others can understand or read their dogwhistles?

Every time they do shit like this they're always like "But where did I say I wanted to lynch them!??!!" like everyone else is as thick as they are.

Gestures and actions still mean something and you've only done it so people "In the know" can be like "Fuck yeah" in their heads or smug expressions like they've gotten away with it.

Serious question: Would this even be illegal? If so, what statues does it potentially violate?

As abhorrent as this is, there's a big part of me that thinks it might fall under protected speech because it's technically not a threat of specific, imminent violence and we can be really picky about that sometimes.

Though if it wasn't her property, maybe they could get her for vandalism?

It would be considered bias intimidation in New Jersey at the very least.

>In the past, N.J.S.A. § 2C:16-1(a)(3) held that a person was guilty of bias intimidation, or committing a hate crime, if the victim of the crime “reasonably believed that either that (a) the offense was committed with a purpose to intimidate the victim… because of race, color, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, or ethnicity, or (b) the victim or the victim’s property was selected to be the target of the offense because of the victim’s race, color, religion,” and so forth.
