I’m sure our good Russian supporters will say something like “Old news”.

This was announced on Monday. That was as of this posting 3 days ago. So - this is not “old news.”

They should expand this to include anyone who us currently supporting Russian assets in anyway. The sanctions should apply to tankies, trolls and botfarms that are supporting Russia online and anyone sending money to the regime.

I believe it will as a result of NATO's vote on Monday. It's going to force a lot of countries to choose to do business with NATO or with Russia, and it'll make it that much harder and more expensive to use intermediaries (China) to get around the sanctions.

You could easily block sending money, but the government can’t block people vocalizing support online or offline. You run into 1st amendment issues, but obviously any material support could easily be seized.

Now now, I'm sure the pro-russia account made 6 days after the invasion started has purely noble intentions

Link to the source saying that this actually happened before NATO announced it on Nov 14?
