Same. Still recovering. Our toddler got croup from it.

Grossest green lung crap I’ve ever had. Hope you all heal quick. My son also developed croup. Insane amount of mucus from this bug.

It’s starting to get chilly- you know the steamy shower trick/go outside trick right? Instant croup relief

Yep, thanks. Lincoln has had croup every year since birth, lol. Poor kid hated when we’d bathe, then wrap him and go on the porch.

Consider allergy meds. Oldest child had chronic croup for years as well as frequent bouts of asthma and eczema. Started Children’s Claritin around age five and there have been barely any issues with croup, asthma and/or eczema since then.
Also, using saline nasal irrigation at the first sign of stuffy nose/congestion cut the recovery time from respiratory bugs in half and generally would prevent the congestion from settling in the lungs (so we would avoid 1-2 weeks of unnecessary coughing).

Yeah I used to get it, I can remember that feeling of drawing in the chilly morning air. The process sucked but it’s crazy how well it works !

I've never heard this, but my kiddo got croup this past spring due to Covid. I'll keep it in mind for the winter, thanks!
