I thought conservatives were totally against keeping kids home from school for a deadly health risk?

I guess they're worried their kids might develop mutant powers/abilities.

For real. They only homeschool to prevent exposure to trans stuff.

Remember when this kind of shit was, like, the most important news going around and everybody was talking about it?

And now it's a constant cacophony of bullshit

How about the homes around the school? It’s hard to believe they’d be clean.

Your government is also capitalistic...

Cheap waste disposal, cheap land, cheap services...

You get what you vote for...

I’m making a joke about how the CIA’s “Victim’s of Communism” book is a joke and over counts everything.

Nazis killed by communists? Victim of Communism.

I know that the source of the waste was from weapons manufacturing and not a plant, but this is one of the reasons why I'm so vehemently against nuclear power. On paper, it's absolutely fantastic, but humans are not infallible and the potential consequences are astronomically higher than solar or wind. Do I want a world with clean, nuclear energy? Absolutely. Would I trust humanity to responsibly use and maintain nuclear energy? Absolutely not. Our track record for responsible use of resources is pretty atrocious.

Eh, I'd rather a few occasional pools of radioactive waste than all the shit we pump into the air and then our lungs, blood, and brain. At least these super rare and generally extremely well contained, and far less frequent in general due to the i:o ratio of material to power generated, occasional pools of toxic radiation aren't blanketing the planet in a green haze the way coal and oil blanket it in a black one.
