I'll tell you what happened Brazilian style: Carla Zambelle, a far-right congresswoman, was having a shouting match with a journalist who supports the left-wing candidate, Lula (squid), when the journalist said "te amo espanhola" which translates to "I love you Spanish woman" and she got full on pistola (very angry) because that was a meme about her being a call girl in the past. Was she? I don't know, but some people swear that's true. Anyway, she got so angry that she ran after him and she tripped and fell over (later on she claimed she was attacked but someone filmed her tripping). Ok, where was I? Oh, she ran after the journalist, who ran away. I'm tired of writing this text. Long story short: she drew her gun, as did her capanga (a bodyguard who's a bad guy) and they chased the journalist around the richest neighborhood in Brazil: Jardins (in SP). They reached the journalist, told him to lie down, roughed him up a bit, and then they calmed down. Then the congresswoman posted a video on Instagram (or Tik tok, I don't know) saying that she had been attacked (not true) and she accused the left-wing party PT of hiring a black man to attack her. She said something like: they got a black man to attack me. Oh, and even though she has a license to have a gun, she broke the law because you can't carry a gun around one day before the elections. The police didn't arrest her, of course, as they are owned by the far-right. The far-right gang (half of Brazil) celebrated her for drawing a gun on a black guy in a verbal fight. That's it.

Edit: Carla also shot the journalist but missed. Later on she claimed she shot the sky but that doesn't make any sense.

No. Christian nationalism and faux morality. She herself shames promiscuity despite having done so herself. Being anti-abortion hurts women in the same position she used to be in. So she's hurting and bashing the very women in the same situation she used to be in, which certainly seems like pulling up the ladder behind her.

It's a Hallmark of Republicans. Just like Hershel Walker getting a bunch of women to get abortions and then trying to prevent other people from doing it now. They're hypocrites who think when they do the things they're bashing it's acceptable and people shouldn't have a problem with it, but when other people do the same thing it's immoral and they want to outlaw it.
