Wow. This article was kind of vague so I googled this woman and she is beyond terrible. Even worse than the headline indicates.

What is the problem with that sort of person, who goes right to false and vile accusations the very moment that they have any disagreement with anyone else? This seems to be a pattern of behavior that many others engage in, recently the comedic actor Jim Carrey had to warn accusers, that he would sue them for falsely claiming that he was on Jeffrey Epstein's island. They say the same lies about actor Tom Hanks. Maybe law enforcement needs to arrest and convict more of these guys who keep lying about everyone. They are often found to be guilty of the exact same crimes that they falsely accuse others of committing.

Anyone who labels themselves as a "Mama Bear" is always going to use that as an excuse to be an asshole. It can usually be found beside, "I don't do drama" and "I just tell it like it is".

The first amendment protects people who lie from actions by the state. When the first amendment was ratified in 1791, it was intended specifically to protect people who would say outrageous things during elections, including lying. I believe two states voted against it. It was not about "journalism", which as we know it today did not exist at the time. Colonists enjoyed saying vile things about their adversary, knowing it would have resulted in their imprisonment in England.

Given the number of prominent politicians in the US that are serial liars, it is unlikely to change anytime soon. They can pursue civil actions for damages, but attempts to "regulate" or prosecute information would be a political death sentence.

First amendment doesn't forbid the government from making filing a false criminal complaint a crime. Sure there's the court of public opinion, and civil court remedies, but I was talking about false reporting to police and prosecutors, etc official government agencies and processes as far as what they should be doing more about. The acts of libel that don't amount to the same criminal charges, can still be used as evidence to convict. And the accusations of crime so vile should be reported to police, not just an online audience. If the audience is important enough to report the allegations of abuse to, then they should be interested in the possibility that the accusations are false, and demand justice.

Any extremist ramblings should be tempered with calm rational thought, and anytime theybraise their voice, the cone of silence. Learn to communicate like an adult, you may just start thinking like one. We can always hope can't we?

Wait, mama-bears and pick-mes can rarely overlap on the venn, and the latter can sometimes morph into the former once they've squoze some progeny out, but most mama-bears aren't pick-mes, they're "wine o'clock", "gimme my timmies", "ride or die" types.

Ah, there were too many tendrils and I missed the introduction of "I don't do drama", but yeah, you're right, anyone who says that they "don't do drama" would say the associated lines like "that's why I like guys more."
