I'm not being disingenuous. There are far more DUIs committed than shootings. Your average run of the mill normal citizen is far more likely to have a few drinks and make the dangerous choice to drive drunk. Sure not everyone, but everyone is also not killing other people.....but safety first.....we must make our laws in order to ensure the lowest among us don't have the opportunity to commit crimes.
