The worst part is that the city is not strategically important, but once Rashists are done with it, they will bomb to oblivion some next city.

Yes and no. Bakhmut isn't some big transportation hub, but on the other hand if your goal is to capture the Donbas you can't do so without capturing Bakhmut and the cities that Bakhmut is shielding like Kramatorsk and Slovyansk. So long as Bakhmut holds the cities behind are spared from the suffering the same fate.

Sadly, no matter how skilled and equipped the Ukrainian military is, it's still incredibly draining on both resources and the actual people to continue fighting for so long at such intensity. Hopefully those that need it are getting at least small breaks or are cycling out for a couple days, stuff like that can have a huge impact on performance/moral over the long term. That being said, in some situations there's simply not much you can do, especially if the enemy is continuously throwing human wave attacks. Still, Ukraine is performing amazingly all things considered, just need to keep the intel, resources and support flowing.

They have troops training at NATO bases that will arrive in batches over time. It’s not much but at least there is that little.

I saw a documentary on German tv here a couple of days ago. The Ukrainian Army has a full recreational program with therapists and treatments to recover in a hidden place somewhere in Ukraine. One scene showed them sitting in a room with special lighting and meditating, they have therapy sessions and are taken care of before returning to fight. It’s sad but also amazing to see how good care the Army takes of their personnel

Glad you posted this. Notice how because the article isn't about Ukraine winning all the same jokes, memes, comments about how stupid and inept Putin is, and Russia in general are nowhere to be found.

Well 2014 up until 2021 was "seperatists" aka the Wagnerites fighting, it's been a year since the full fledged Russian invasion.

Nearly all of the weapons being given to Ukraine were bought by their original owning countries with the intention of potentially having to fight Russia and this guy is mad that the weapons are being sent to fight Russia, lol.
