Might be personally biased by the value it'd have for me, but I think it would be pretty amazing if we could get something like the river line, but running along the old Raritan River Railroad tracks, but run on to Somerville and maybe up to a station on the gladstone branch.
Could replace several bus routes, and it would be nice if you could use those lines without having to go all the way up to Newark for a transfer.

Check out weird NJ wheelers books walking the newark and boonton branches. Very interesting and a lot of good pictures

Track-head? Fond memories of my hometown's Erie Lakawana red station house with pot belly stove, sadly demolished for a post office that was also demolished. Also Irivington's tram to Olympic Park, closed after its rumble.

Man, I'd love for more light rail to go around NJ. At least the Greenway will be something for bikes.
