I'm trying to decide the best hospital to deliver in. My OB only does Newark beth Israel which is 45 min+ away and honestly doesn't seem very appealing. The closest to me is probably RWJ New Brunswick or St. Peters. I'm just looking if anyone had any experience giving birth in Central NJ

St. Peter’s is one of the best in the state. They’re fully equipped and specialized in the care of delivery complications and NICU care.
My OB said I am free to choose any hospital of my liking, but if complications arise and the hospital is not fully equipped to handle it, I’d likely be transferred to St. Peter’s anyway. For this reason, most patients choose to birth at St. Peter’s.
My SIL also delivered at St. Peter’s and raves about her experience.
