Gorgeous shot thanks for sharing. I moved away from NJ/NYC and this view is one of the things I miss most. I love how alive it looks as an animation vs just a static image

If you can do more of these please make some hour(s) long time lapses I love putting stuff like this on my TV for ambient art. It makes the house feel less lonely / more alive

that would be great. I use my phone to do them so I'd have to set it up to run for a loooong time but I'll see what I can do!

When did you move to Vermont, and why? Also how do you like it?

My wife and I spent a lot of time in the winter coming up here on vacations, my job was suddenly ending and I was really burned on the commute in/out of NYC the last few years I was there.

It's great if you can find work. We stressed about never owning property in NJ and we have a nice little slice of nature not too far from Burlington and really close to a few legendary ski destinations. Lake Champlain is pretty incredible, I got into ice fishing and there's nothing like it where I grew up in NJ. Here's a video I just finished if your curious about the fishing

I really like the no billboards thing. Stowe and Toyota tried to pull some shit and the town shut them down. Stowe is one of the fanciest places in all of VT, shows how little tolerance VT has for that stuff.

I think the population density is more humane than NJ or NYC. It's not a solution to all life's problems but if you can make a life here it's been worth it so far. We'll see how I feel about the cold in 10 years

Thank you for taking the time to answer! I really appreciate your response. Vermont, as you've described it, sounds nice, and that was a very enjoyable video.

I can't keep up with how quickly the skyline is changing despite seeing it from my area now and then. My brain is stuck on mid-2000s NYC.

Hudson yards hurts the skyline, especially from areas like the Weehawken waterfront where it blocks out the Empire State Building. Change my mind

Hope there's snow in Southwest NJ, with it being the only 7B climate zone in the state, snow is starting to be extinct here. There's now people here with palm trees that survive the winter without much effort.
