Call the township or the county or state, and ask them to mail you some bit of information: recycling rules, or a voter registration card, or info on a hunting/ fishing license or something. You won't end up on even more junk mail lists, you'll have proof of address, and it counts as official correspondence for your points. [If they initially balk, just say you don't have reliable internet or your printer is broken or something.]
