There was one car length between me and the person in front of me and my front bumper was past her back bumper. I had to hit the brakes and my horn so she would hit me.

That is not how it SHOULD work but at the same time it's not worth it to get upset or let it ruin your day. Driving in Jersey will break you or make you a very alert driver.

First...which is it? Bumper? or door?

Second, if either of those is true, how did you see her blinker blinking?

I'm not saying your story is shaky...but someone really should be holding the ladder it's standing on.

Shame you deleted your post, I kept a tab open as I wanted to reply and just got delayed.

You forget that you posted on Reddit, land of the spoiled twelve year olds who think everyone should bow before them, and the laws apply to everyone else but them.

Your response wasn't perfect, but then again the other driver was intentionally being an ass. I'd like to say I wouldn't have done the same thing, buttttt... ;) I tend to be aggressive, but I *do* back down when it's apparent I may lose as well.

Don't listen to the a-holes in this thread. Don't be a pushover, just make sure you don't make it worse for yourself. Those preaching "share the road," are the same assholes weaving in and out.
