Thank you very much for your response. They advertise Monroe schools to be good/ high rating, it is useful to hear about the current state of the schools from the residents. Do you reside in this community?

Not in town but in the area.

I would read the reviews on Khov homes. They haven’t been known to be the best quality in the past.

I used to work for a paving company and before that worked with a GC. I can tell you right now they are trash, slapped up as quickly and cheaply as possible. But, here’s the thing, ALL those types of homes are the same.

I thought they were especially bad. For instance worse than toll brothers who I also would likely stay away from. I guess it’s better to have a company that like Khov or toll to go after if the house is a disaster rather than a fly by night contractor that throws up a sun division and then dissolves their corporation.

As another poster said we need to build at least one more school. Not sure if we need another or expansion on an existing building. We just had a school board election. When they built the current High School the original proposal was shot down. When a few years past the cost skyrocketed.

If you are planning on moving do look at the schools. Monroe has expanded at an unimaginable rate but the school never caught up. The classes are being held in trailers. No matter how good the community is but the township as a whole is lacking.
