Except, rhe "only" you mention was in the range of 70 million voters a few years ago... very hopeful here that this has changed...

Good for him. Trump should be politically irrelevant this far out from his presidency.

Yes, one can hope. We’ll see in two weeks and again in two years. I hope…for my grandchildren.

This is not a difficult decision

Kean has been very careful to not take a position on any issue. He doesn’t want to appear to be part of the MAGA cult because it will cost him moderate votes, And he doesn’t want to condemn the MAGA crowd for fear of retribution from Their Leader. So he says nothing.
I find it curious that Trump lives in NJ7 * but hasn’t endorsed Kean or made a campaign appearance with him.
* Yes I know his legal residence is Mar-A-Lago but he spends a lot of time in Bedminster

Judging by that fact that Chaney lost her primary I don't think anything significant has changed.

Kean is a milquetoast Republican and far from MAGA. More like a NJ Mitt Romney.
But he's still going to win.

Should be, but his party does not want him to be irrelevant.
Nor is he letting himself be irrelevant.
You might want to check with the GOP as to why THEY want him to remain relevant.
Because the majority of US voters have indicated in two straight elections that we'd like for him to be irrelevant.
But the Republicans keep trying to shove him into our lives.
Ask the Republicans why they are doing that instead of moving on and making him irrelevant.
He is their frontrunner in 2024. If he isn't, he will be their kingmaker/spoiler.
It's their problem, and they're trying to make it all of our problem, too.

Got bad news - they're worse. And they aren't going away.

I guess you could point towards the poor quality candidates they keep trying to throw at us. Not to sound like le enlightened centrist, but, it's really slim pickings and people on the right, and the left to an extent, seem to be voting for egos as opposed to policy.
It's kind of sad, but i think we all, red and blue, want substantial and meaningful change in the way the system is run.

Is this newsworthy or just clickbait? The only people who would vote for a trump candidate are in a cult.
