That's beautiful.

Great house with or without the Halloween decor. Someone has spent real money keeping it up that well.

Do you know what year it was built?

$451,000. That's it? Wow.

Three to five times that much by me depending upon the town. It's cheaper to knock them down and build something modern. It's a shame.

Do you live in New York? The house prices there are higher than my house prices in California

Yes.

It's crazy (or was) but I have friends in LA (I used to live there) so I hear the stories about crazy prices. West LA is ridiculous. Hancock Park has gone through the roof. Even Mid-Wilshire. Despite apartments being built everywhere. The single house prices are probably higher there. I don't know the condo and rental prices there, but I am sure they're no bargain. Those may actually be higher here, at least for Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn.

House prices have been rising rapidly in the past two years, which is not good news for many people. I don’t live in Southern California, so I don’t know much about house prices there. I live in Northern California. It may be cheaper (maybe higher) than Southern California, but I know Manhattan has always been the most expensive place in the world,

There are Victorian houses in every place, only such houses are rarely sold in the housing market nowadays
