Try LinkedIn this is the worst place to find a job especially in law enforcement… but civil service is really the best bet to get on besides taking chief tests

Doesn’t have to be law enforcement I just need work while I wait for the civil service. Not trying to go back to Amazon or similar

Go local.
The big sites that list lots of jobs can be nice, but actually looking at each department can also be helpful.
In Hudson County, the Prosecutor's Office doesn't hire from civil service lists, and I don't think Secaucus PD does either.
If you can get into any department in a civilian position, that may help your application later on, too.

Go Air Force, with a bachelors degree you could go through OCS for Security Forces.
