the wealthy pay much higher taxes in the form of property taxes. some houses around me that wealthy people rebuilt are paying close to $50,000 in taxes a year

this is the same taxes creep i've seen in NY. same with MTA funding. they add new taxes and raise more and it's always the wealthy who never seem to pay enough and pay the most. or the MTA needs taxes from the rich or it will shut down and the taxes and fees keep increasing and the MTA is always in trouble with their big projects that are boondoggles
