Yes. Las Palmas is great. Havana sandwich queen makes a great Cuban steak sandwich. And if you’re further south, one of the sons from Martino’s in Somerville opened a fancier Cuban fusion place.

May be a bit of a drive from NYC, but two places i've been that i really liked. Cubacon in Asbury Park and A Little Bit of Cuba Dos in Freehold.
In NYC, I've been going to Sophies in the downtown area for over 20 years.
