Looking for a good place to grab breakfast sandwiches or wraps actually downtown and not in the outlying areas. Not looking for a sit down place, somewhere I can roll in, order a BEC from someone who will probably give me a dirty look while whipping up a damn good sandwich. Delis, bodegas, whatever, hit me

Olmo bagelry has the best bagels and are quick. They do egg and cheese, lox, and cream cheese.

Grab and go downtown(ish) you’re looking at P&M, Nica’s or k&g all on orange st, the neighborhood cafe on State, B&M or Pan de Cielo 2 on Ferry, or the bagelry on Trumbull.
Edited to add either Good Nature Market (aka gourmet heaven) location.

If you won’t/can’t go to East Rock where there’s a lot of good options (Atticus Market, Zoi’s, Olmo, Nica’s, Crepes Choupette, etc), then I’d recommend G Cafe on Chapel or Orange, Atticus by the art museums, Donut Crazy (solid sandwiches, nothing fancy), Book Trader. Maybe Bnatural Kitchen but never tried their breakfast items.

Atticus downtown inside the British Art museum makes an excellent breakfast sandwich. I've also tried Zoi's and Olmo and they are also good.

Nah just go to Marketa on Temple st right there near the green. It's where the locals grab their BECs. Or yeah begining of Orange St has some places.

Come to the "hood" and go to People's Choice on Dixwell. The best sandwich shop around.
