Friendly gym, good people. Lots of beginner climbs so you can work your way up! If I remember right not too expensive either Edit: can be busy with lots of Yalies, odd hours are best

It’s a gym. You can get a decent climbing workout. Unfortunately, the bouldering space isn’t set up well. It’s short and opposite walls are close together (e.g. you’ll be in someone’s way who is on the wall behind you while scoping out problems). If you’re used to a more modern gym, you’ll likely be disappointed. That being said, people are super friendly and it’s the only gym I use because it’s so convenient.

Rock Spot (formerly Prime Climb) up in Wallingford is much better for climbing, but if you don't have a car City Climb is okay.
